J.STaR is Indiana's premier Southern Rock Band. Based out of Indianapolis; their high energy shows have been well received by audiences throughout Central Indiana for nearly two decades. The band's musicianship is very impressive. Originally formed in 2004, the band pays tribute to the kings of the genre...Lynyrd Skynyrd.

J.STaR has played all over Indiana for nearly two decades at events such as the Marion County Fair, Danville Amphitheater Summer Concert Series and Beech Grove "Beech Party" Music Festival.

Tim Connor (Guitarist) Tim's high powered style and interaction with the audience provides an outstanding experience for fans. Tim is a versatile guitarist who can play lead or rhythm guitar.re to add text.
Randy Howard (Guitar) is an incredible talent. Heavily influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan; Randy is lightning fast and precise. He is well known for his versatility.
James Dickerson (Bassist / Vocals) is a formally trained bassist and vocalist who can also play keyboards. James brings many years of performing and arranging experience to the band.
Steve Styer ("World's Most Dangerous Drummer") anchors the rhythm section. Steve previously played for The Vibrations, Count Five and Overload Band, among others. He has also done studio and recording work. Steve plays Gretsch drums and Zildjian cymbals exclusively.o add text.
Jim Bewley (Lead Vocals) fronts the band . Though heavily influenced by Country and Southern Rock; this versatile vocalist can do it all. Jim has also performed at major sporting events, including NBA and NFL games.. to add text.
Terry Reece (Lead Guitar) is an extremely talented guitarist and vocalist with many years of performing experience. Terry is also the band's audio engineer.
